Lancer Corporation Achieves CDP Supplier Engagement Leader (A) Rating

April 2026 - Lancer Corporation has been recognized as a Supplier Engagement Leader by CDP, achieving an A rating in CDP's Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA).

The SEA evaluates companies' performance on governance, targets, Scope 3 emissions management, and value chain engagement within CDP's climate change questionnaire. An A rating recognizes best-in-class practices in driving climate action through the supply chain.

Strategic Significance

The Supplier Engagement Leader rating recognizes Lancer's approach to value chain sustainability and supplier collaboration, supporting the company's ability to meet customer sustainability requirements.

The SEA assessment evaluates how companies engage suppliers on climate issues, set Scope 3 emissions reduction targets, and integrate sustainability into procurement decisions. Lancer's A rating reflects systematic efforts to measure, manage, and reduce emissions across the value chain while building supplier capacity for climate action.

Public Recognition 

Lancer's A rating will be publicly displayed on the CDP website when the full SEA score release takes place in late April 2026. The rating is available to customers and stakeholders via the CDP platform at cdp.net.

Building on Climate Leadership

The Supplier Engagement Leader rating complements Lancer's climate action framework, including Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) commitments covering Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, CDP Management level (B) scores in Climate Change and Water Security, and comprehensive Scope 3 emissions measurement across the value chain.
