Lancer Corporation Achieves CDP Management Level (B) Scores in Climate Change and Water Security

December 2025 - Lancer Corporation has been awarded Management level (B) scores for Climate Change and Water Security by CDP, the global environmental nonprofit that runs the world's largest independent environmental disclosure system.

This represents year-over-year progress from C (Awareness level) scores in 2024 and places Lancer in CDP's Management level, which indicates that the company is aware of and actively addressing climate and water-related risks and opportunities.

"Lancer's advancement from Awareness to Management level in just one year reflects our commitment to integrating environmental considerations into how we operate," said Matthew Whitener, President of Lancer Corporation. "These CDP scores acknowledge the progress we are making and encourage us to keep strengthening our climate and water stewardship across the business."

CDP Scoring Framework:

The CDP applies a rigorous and independent methodology to evaluate disclosure quality, risk awareness, environmental management, and evidence of best practice. Scores range from A to D-, reflecting the degree of ambition, target setting, and action taken on environmental issues.

CDP is fully aligned with leading climate disclosure frameworks including the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and maintains the world's largest repository of environmental data. Its scoring system is widely used by investors and procurement teams seeking to accelerate progress toward a net-zero, sustainable economy.

Strategic Context

Lancer's Management level scores reflect integration of climate and water considerations into operational decision-making and risk management processes. The company's environmental disclosure covers emissions measurement, climate-related risks and opportunities, water usage and security, and evidence-based target setting.

Building on Established Infrastructure

CDP Management level scores complement Lancer's existing sustainability framework, including Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) commitments, EcoVadis Silver Medal recognition, SMETA social compliance certifications, ISO management system certifications, and UN Global Compact membership.

Lancer's 2025 Climate Change and Water Security scores are available to requesting customers and stakeholders via the CDP platform at cdp.net.
