Hoshizaki Lancer Announces The Launch Of Their State-of-the-art Python Manufacturing Machine

ADELAIDE, 21st March, 2023 — Hoshizaki Lancer, a leading supplier of beverage dispensing and food services equipment announced today the launch of a new, state-of-the-art python manufacturing machine at their production facility in Beverley, South Australia.

Beverage dispense trunk lines (more commonly known as python) are critical component in any dispensing solution, providing the means to transport the product from the point of storage, typically in a cool room, to the point of dispense, such as at a beer fount or soft drink tower.

This new python machine represents a significant investment from Hoshizaki Lancer and has been entirely designed and produced locally in Adelaide in partnership with Asytec, reinforcing Hoshizaki Lancer’s commitment to supporting local manufacturing within Australia.

Hoshizaki Lancer’s new python machine will be able to produce cabled python, which offers significant advantages over the non-cabled python that is commonly used within venues.

The benefits of cabled python include:

• Close to 50% reduction in the force required to pull the cabled python through conduit1. This allows for faster and easier installation within venues, while also reducing the risk of potential injuries to installers.

• 25% reduction in the diameter of the cabled python when looped1. This increased flexibility will allow the python to be installed around tighter bends within conduits and building cavities, again offering faster and easier installations – particularly in smaller venues and where space is at a premium. In addition, this increased flexibility provides more efficient palletisation of the finished python, which will offer further freight and storage cost savings for customers.

• Elimination of knuckling within the python. Due to Hoshizaki Lancer’s innovative cabled manufacturing process, the pressure applied to the python when being packed for shipping is more evenly distributed across all the internal tubing. This ensures that each python looks as good when it is rolled out at the venue, as it did coming out of the python machine.

The new python machine will be able to manufacture a full range of python configurations – including an industry leading python comprising a massive 24 product lines. In addition, the new python machine provides vastly improved production capacity, quadrupling Hoshizaki Lancer’s current output volume. This allows Hoshizaki Lancer to be more responsive and quicker to market to meet the growing demands of the beverage industry.

“We are extremely excited to unveil our new python machine, nicknamed ‘Monty’” said Laurie Boxwell, Managing Director ANZ, Hoshizaki Lancer. “This significant investment is just part of Hoshizaki Lancer’s rich tradition of providing innovative new products for our customers that provide tangible benefits and strong ROI.”

“The addition of cabled python to Hoshizaki Lancer’s industry leading beverage dispensing portfolio represents a game-changer in allowing for faster and more efficient installations, while ensuring that the beverage being dispensed is exactly as the producer intended.”
